Brett Lee and his team mates will be busy stepping into the acting shoes for the Bollywood flick 'Victory'

Leading the Australian cricketers, Brett Lee and his team mates have reached India ahead of the Indian Premier League. But before that, they will be busy stepping into the acting shoes for the Bollywood flick 'Victory'.

The 'Lethal Lee' and his Aussie teammates are in India but they have not made an early arrival for the upcoming Indian Premier League. Lee along with Simon Katich, Stuart Clark, Brad Hogg and Luke Ronchi are here to set foot on an altogether different pitch.

Having canned the first schedule of the Bollywood flick 'Victory' down under earlier this summer, Lee is here to complete the remaining portion of the film, tipped to be the one of the biggest films on cricket coming out of Bollywood stable.

As Brett Lee quotes, "It's been quite a good time in Australia shooting and spending time with the actors. A few of my team mates are going to be co-stars, and not extras and the boys are enjoying it."

The Aussie stars had begun filming for 'Victory' at the famous SCG even as the racism row threatened to derail India's tour. But the cricketers are excited at soaking in the limelight in India's tinsel town.

Brad Hogg states, "We started the film in Sydney when India came some months ago. So putting the final touches. it will be interesting to see how the film goes. Bollywood is the big film industry here. I am excited to be part of it. It's a piece of history."

The film will provide the Australians some much-needed excitement ahead of the Summer Slam. Even the likes of Luke Ronchi and Simon Katich, who only have limited roles are happy to be part of the venture.

Luke Ronchi avers, "I won't be talking too much. I will be in the background side and that will be good enough for me."

Simon Katich also echoes similar thoughts, "I think I will be an extra. Thankfully, it will be good for me as I don't have much acting experience apart from a few commercial shoots in Australia for my sponsors."

Indo-Australia cricketing rivalry has undoubtedly captured the imagination of the cricketing world. 'Victory' - a joint Indo-Aus production could go a long way in strengthening the bond.
