ICC World XI captain Shaun Pollock paid tribute to Brett Lee after seeing the Australia pace bowler help the hosts complete a 3-0 whitewash in the one-day series.
Lee took the wickets of Chris Gayle, Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis and Rahul Dravid as the World XI were skittled out for just 137 in reply to Australia's 293-5.
The dismal collapse left Pollock with little positive to say about his side's display.
"I think there's always a danger when you're 2-0 down in a three-match series that it can turn out like this," said the South African.
"As much as we talked about it, it didn't have much of an impact.
"We knew we had to go out with all guns blazing, but Brett Lee bowled superbly and knocked us out of it."
