MUMBAI: Australian fast bowler Brett Lee suffered a cut above his left eye in a bout of boxing with teammate Justin Langer in a gymnasium here but would be available for selection for the fourth cricket Test against India beginning Wednesday.
Lee got a nasty blow when Langer, wearing a helmet, head-butted into the fast bowler.
The Aussie medical team was kept busy as Glenn McGrath was also down, suffering from a bout of flu.
Australian team's media manager Jonathan rose however said the matters were not serious and the duo would be available for selection.
"Lee had a minor cut under the eye during the fitness regimen the players underwent at the team hotel, but he's fine now. McGrath has a bout of flu, and is resting. But all the team members barring Darren Lehmann (who tore a hamstring in the Nagpur Test) are available for selection," he said.
Lehmann is scheduled to fly home before the start of the fourth Test.
