| Australia's selectors want the chance to pick Brett Lee again, but will have to wait until June to recall Ashes swingman Ben Hilfenhaus. National selection chairman Andrew Hilditch was unperturbed by Lee's pronouncement this week that he "might never bowl another ball", while at the same time reckoning Hilfenhaus would have to wait until the mid-year tour against Pakistan in England for another international stint. Injured and facing an uncertain future in international cricket, Lee is on the outer for selection for the World Cup in the subcontinent. | Brett Lee says he will consult Test captain Ricky Ponting before deciding whether to press on with his career or pulling up stumps after a 13-year career. Lee is confronting his cricketing mortality as he fights to overcome the most painful injury of his illustrious career. His hopes of a Test recall had an almost terminal setback on Friday when Australia coach Tim Nielsen revealed the 33-year-old was at long odds to again wear the baggy green. | Brett Lee still has a future as an Australian fast bowler, says national coach Tim Nielsen - but it is unlikely to be in Test cricket. Lee is recovering from elbow surgery and is unsure when he will be bowling again. He has yet to decide on his international future, and might limit himself to playing in the Indian Premier League. Nielsen said Lee was still capable of commanding a spot in Australia's one-day side, but was at long odds to regain his place in the Test line-up, given he was 33 and had not played a Test since the Boxing Day match of 2008. | Injury-cursed paceman Brett Lee has refused to guarantee continuing his Test cricket career until next summer's Ashes series. Lee, 33, insists he still has plenty of cricket left in him despite recent elbow surgery for the latest injury problem to plague him. But what form that cricket will take is unclear, with Lee offering a "maybe" as his answer to whether he saw himself continuing to play on for Australia in the home Ashes series at the end of 2010. | Unfazed by threats issued by Shiv Sena and well on his way to recovering from an elbow injury, Australian speedster Brett Lee on Thursday said he would play in the Indian Premier League starting March 12. "I obviously feel very proud coming to India. I have been here a lot of times and I love coming here. I have said it time and again that India is like a second home to me. I feel very comfortable with the way I am treated here.
