| Injured Australian paceman Brett Lee will put his faith in an Australian medical expert based in London to resurrect his fading Ashes hopes. The Daily Telegraph has learnt Lee has enlisted highly respected specialist David Connell to assist him with a strained muscle near his ribs. "I have the best in the business in David Connell and that's why I went to London for his expert advice and best recuperation program. He was the same doctor who looked at ( Shane) Watson's knee and I will continue to seek his opinion in a bid to get myself fit again." Read full story » |

| Brett Lee's latest injury was not the result of mismanagement of his training program, Cricket Australia has said. Team physio Alex Kountouris said Lee's workload had been closely monitored during his comeback from ankle surgery last summer. | Australian captain Ricky Ponting concedes the absence of veteran paceman Brett Lee is a blow for the team. Lee could miss the opening two Tests of the series after being diagnosed on Monday as suffering from an abdominal strain, though Ponting said the paceman had not yet been ruled out of the game at Lord's.
