It was December 5th 2005, (day after my birthday). I went to my first cricket match. It was going great. Brett had just bowled his first over, and went to field near the boundary. It was on the other side of the oval but me and my friend ran over because I'm so obsessed.
I made a poster that said "All I want for Christmas is Brett Lee under my Christmas tree". I was calling for him and put up my poster. He was upset because Ponting had just dropped a catch from his last ball. I showed him the poster and he gave me the cutest smile. I was so happy. Then he waved at me. I asked for an autograph but he said no he was trying to concentrate on the game. I was so happy I jumped back to my seat and rang some of my friends.
After Michael Clarke come to field in front of us I yelled out I love you Clarkey and it was all quiet, everyone heard me. I think Clarkey got scared because he moved to the other side of the field or probaly he was just moved by Ponting. Then Brett came and it was all quiet I yelled I love you Brett and Brett your sexy! My friend told me to keep quiet but I was to excited. He started laughing and turned around it was so cool.
Then Brett was doing all these cheeky, funny things entertaining the crowd. There was a camera man there and when he finished taping Brett I asked him to put me on. He did I was so happy, the crowd around me where all entertained it was awesome. I love Brett his a great inspiration. His great to watch because he enjoys his cricket and makes it fun!!
