The Day I Met My Idol

I received the cricket tickets for Christmas I was so excited because I knew my all time idol was going to be there (Brett Lee).

Anyway once we reached the 'Gabba my heart started to race as I saw Brett practising.

The game didn't go too well for Australia especially on the first ball first over Adam Gilchrist got out.

It was a day-nighter so it didn't finish till 10.30pm. At the end of the game I saw Brett signing things so I lined up when he reached the girl next to me I was trembling because finally after what had felt like a life-time he reached me. I was speechless all I remember saying was "Oh my God, you're Brett Lee" and he was like, "yeah I'm Brett". I didn't know what to say but I wasn't very surprised to know how sweet he was.

I will never forget the day I met my idol.
