It was the morning of the 23rd October 2005. I woke up early with a bounce and excitedly got up. I was going out to Bankstown to see the NSW blues play against the SA redbacks. It was a day not to miss.

We sat in the front row, near to where Glenn McGrath was fielding. Although I was highly interested in the game, I was fonder of looking for my hero, Brett Lee. At last, he was called on to bowl. I watched with a passion, envying his footwork and wishing I could bowl like that. Once he had finished, I walked around to where he was fielding. I got him to sign a photo, and told him how great he was. I went around another time and then got a photo with him and told him I loved his band.

After watching the game for a bit longer, I decided to purchase a test cricket hat. After doing so, I yet again walked around and got him to sign that.

NSW had a victory that day, winning by one run. But my voctory was meeting my hero, the one I admire and love.
