Meeting Brett Again

Hi, this is Amanda again! I'm gonna tell y'all about one of the most recent times I've spoken to Brett.

My friends, Sophie, Claire, Jesse, Jared and I went to the 2nd final of the previous VB series. When Australia was fielding I remember I kicked my thongs to the back row of the seats and when I stood up, they were gone. Anyways after the presentation and everything else was done the players walked around the SCG and I spoke to Michael Clarke! He said, 'I would love to have fans like Brett's.' I replied 'Don't worry I can see that starting to happen already.'

Later on Brett came up to us and I said 'Hey Binga I loved your 3 catches they were awesome. Can you please sign on this for me? It's for a huge fan of yours.' He said 'Sure no problems. Have you got a pen?' So I took out a black marker and gave it to him. When Brett started to write the word 'To' he asked me what's my friend's name and i said 'Leash.' Brett asked 'How do you spell that?' I said 'L-e-a-s-h'. On the paper it said 'To Leash, Best Wishes. Brett Lee'.

After that we had a chat for about 10 minutes. We talked about from cricket to personal stuff like i asked him does he have a girlfriend yet. His face turned into a tomato! Everytime i ask that kinda question the same thing happens. He replied shyly, 'Nah not at the moment. I don't think you'll see me getting married 'til a few years later. I just want to concentrate on my career right now.' I kinda laughed and said, 'Oh...shy boy!' He had a laugh too and said 'Sorry babe i gotta go now. Catcha laters.'
