Lee is a star recruit for the network, despite Cricket Australia's strong connection with Channel 9, which has been synonymous with cricket. "Brett is a champion," Seven CEO David Leckie said. "He's got the personality and the smarts to build a career in television beyond cricket. "We're pleased he's made the decision to come to the network that's going places." Next year, Brett will work on Seven News and Sunrise.
Lee will assist with the promotion of the Deakin India Research Institute (DIRI), which will develop research opportunities in India and Australia, for the benefit of people in both countries. Lee will also have a key role in shaping a new charitable fund that is part of the Institute. The fund will support working on projects such as setting up water filtration plans and creating better sanitation programs, which will make a difference to the lives of million of Indians.

Gatorade became a Cricket Australia sponsor during the 2001-02 season through its expertise in meeting the hydration requirements of elite athletes. In addition to sponsoring the carts used at all drinks breaks in international matches in Australia, the company has also introduced on-field Rehydration Stations at all Test and one-day international venues, giving players the opportunity to constantly replace fluids throughout a match rather than merely at traditional drinks breaks.
In August 2008, fashion designer and Jupi Corporation president Bruno Schiavi and Cricket super star Brett Lee launched ACESTAR, a new underwear range using only the best yarns, manufactured to the highest quality standards. The new ACESTAR collection is stylish, sporty and very funky, consisting of Y-Fronts, trunks and boxers using only 100% cotton fibres. As with many of Bruno Schiavi's collections the whole concept is affordability with style and comfort at the forefront. Using only the best fabrics such as DuPont and Brushed Cotton the new range is taking Australia by storm.

Skins are technical performance equipment designed and engineered to optimise your body's performance and recovery, whatever level of activity you undertake. Brett says, "Whether I'm playing or training, I always wear Skins™ under my whites. They make my legs feel fresher and stronger, even when pounding down over after over. Skins™ help me remain consistent and allow me to bowl faster for longer, not to mention my ability to recover more quickly after a match. I don't leave the sheds without them."
What Brett has to say about his Timex sponsorship: "It is a privilege to join hands with Timex Watches and to do so both in India and Australia, my home country. India is a personal favourite because the passion for cricket is at its highest here. This is very exciting for me. Also, Timex is known for sport, performance and an active lifestyle, some of the things that are important to me."
Brett is a brand ambasador for Travelex. Travelex says: "Brett epitomises everything we love about sport. Honest, fierce, competition. He is one of the fastest, most terrifying bowlers in the world to face. He never gives up and he puts everything into every single ball. As soon as it's over, he becomes one of the nicest people to have a beer with afterwards. Brett is exactly the kind of person we like to work with."
For all his driving needs, Brett is sponsored by Volkwagen and owns two of their cars - a Golf GTI (pictured) and a Touareg. Brett, a self confessed 'car nut' loves the GTI, but unlike his bowling not just for how quick it is. He is also impressed by the German design, sharp handling and level of standard features, including ABS, ESP, 6 speed manual transmission, racing steering wheel, 6 airbags as well as the 2.0 Turbo FSI engine.

A self-confessed "7-a-morning" eater of the popular Australian cereal, Brett has been the face of Weet-Bix along with a host of other Australian sporting stars (including big bro, Shane) for the last few years. He has appeared in several TV ads for the breakfast food, as well as taken part in other promotional bits & bobs.
And in one special promotion, Sanitarium re-named the cereal in honour of Brett by calling it "Brett-Bix".
Brett signed an endorsement deal with Woodworm to promote its products both on and off the field. He will spearhead Woodworm's marketing activities in Australia through to and beyond the end of his international playing career. The deal will see him sport the range of Woodworm cricket equipment in addition to promoting Woodworm's new line of golf apparel.
